Triskelion | Triskele

The Triskelion, or Triskele, is one of the oldest symbols in the world and appears in various cultures and eras, including Celtic, Etruscan, Greek, Sicilian, and even pre-Columbian American cultures. The symbol was often used to represent the cyclical nature of life and nature and was associated with the sun, the moon, and the seasons.

The symbol consists of three equal curved legs or spirals and can be interpreted in different ways. One interpretation is that the three legs represent the three phases of life: birth, life, and death. Another interpretation is that the three spirals symbolize the three elements: fire, water, and air.

The Triskelion can also be associated with movement and change, as the spirals appear to be in motion. It represents the cyclical nature of life and the natural world, reminding us that everything is constantly moving and changing. Change is the only constant.
